OMPH School raises more than $20,000 with Treasure Island fundraiser

pirateOur Mother of Perpetual Help School in Ephrata, Pa., hosted its annual Treasure Island auction on Saturday, November 7. Those in attendance enjoyed heavy hors d’oeuvres and beverages while bidding on great prizes, such as a Disney Vacation package and a 55-inch smart TV.

Each grade from OMPH School donated an art project they created as a class. The art projects were auctioned off the night of the event, along with themed baskets made with items donated by parents.

The emcee for the evening was Father “Captain Jack” John McLoughlin (left, with his buccaneer friend Father Gerard), who enthusiastically encouraged attendees to keep on bidding!

The night was a huge success, raising more than $20,000 in funding for scholarships and school support.
